Caduceus Occupational Medicine is currently seeking an experienced Physical Therapist. We have 8 locations in the Metro Atlanta area.
Position Description: Directly responsible for physical therapists in all clinics, formulating and implementing physical therapy procedures and practices, recruitment and ongoing training of all physical therapists to ensure highest quality of service provided to patients.
Essential Functions: 1. Performs initial evaluation of the patient’s status prior to treatment
2. Contacts the referring physician, as indicated, and discusses appropriate patient treatment plan
3. Administers treatments to the patient in accordance with the physician referral

4. Completes documentation of the initial evaluation and plan of care within twenty-four (24) working hours
5. Documents the patient’s progress in the patient’s medical record daily and in the status reports to the referring physician at least monthly
6. Renews the patient’s plan of care every thirty (30) days
7. Submits a daily account of modalities/procedures rendered to each of the patients
8. Assists with the scheduling or re-scheduling of patient appointments as indicated
9. Assists in the training and monitoring of Facility’s support personnel
10. Performs other duties inherent in the position including:- Complete daily agency opening and closing procedures
- Communicates with physician
- Attends staff and Patient Plan of Care Meetings
- Participates in in-service training programs
- Assists in medical record audits
- Assists or acts as clinical instructor for students
11. Performs other duties, including but not limited to:
- Job Demands Analysis

- Calculating disability ratings
- Health Fairs
- On-site Work Station Evaluations
12. Carries out any other duties relevant to the position as requested by the Director of Physical Therapy.
Professional Requirements: - Graduate from a college with an American Physical Therapy Association accredited Physical Therapy curriculum for entry level Physical Therapy
- Current State of Georgia license
- Competence in the area of physical therapy services in which he/she will function
- CPR certified
- Any equivalent combination of education, experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities for the position.
