This person works full-time as a therapist. This person provides family centered assessments and treatment including individual and group therapy for assigned children.
The successful applicant for this position should have a Masters Degree and appropriate licensure by the State of Ohio to provide Behavioral Health Counseling and Therapy services (LISW, LSW or PCC. PC, MFT), experience diagnosing and treating behavioral health disorders in children and youth; a demonstrated ability to work well with many different types of people; possess a valid driver's license, a good driving record, automotive liability insurance, and a car which is safely maintained. Ability to drive is required. Demonstrates sensitivity and consideration for the cultural differences among the children and families served by Pathway. Demonstrates knowledge of working with children placed in foster and adoptive care; birth parents and foster families. Good written and verbal skills are required, as well as a willingness to provide community-based services within flexible hours. 3 or more years of experience preferred.
