Our client is a great school system working with a Pediatric population and located just north of downtown Houston, Texas. They are looking for a full-time OTR for the upcoming 2009-2010 school year. The Special Education Department offers an awesome support network; from the Special Education Director and the Sr. Therapist....all the way down to the principal and staff at the school you will be working. Great mentoring. Schedule follows 5 weeks of regular therapy and week six is case management and planning. Secretarial assistance is available for scheduling ARDs Great materials and tests. Everyone has a laptop, their own office and phone,. We have placed multiple therapists at this client and have great feedback from our therapists! This community is close to Houston but removed from the congestion of the city. Nice place to live, lots of trees, Easy access to the Woodlands and Conroe.

This is a Direct Hire Position, where you become an employee of the school district. This years schedule will last from August 20, 2009 until June 5, 2010. Candidates with their Doctorate Degree will receive additional compensation.....so call us today for immediate consideration.

Qualifications: Must hold a Bachelors Degree in either Occupational Therapy; hold a current state license (or eligible) if applicable. Bilingual (Spanish) skills are very welcome for this position!
